About Jim

Jim is an Equine Barefoot Hoof Specialist, rancher, and cattleman based in Western Wyoming.

With formal education in biology and natural resource management, combined with years of hands-on ranch management experience, his approach to hoof care is grounded in anatomy, biomechanics, and practical horsemanship.

As a combat veteran and lifelong stockman, Jim brings discipline, consistency, and integrity to his work.

He believes:

  • Soundness is built, not guessed at

  • Horses deserve thoughtful management

  • Excellence honors both client and calling

When not trimming horses, Jim and his family raise exceptional grass-finished beef and continue building a life rooted in faith, hard work, and stewardship
